I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful blanket my daughter (Madison) received when she went to Frederick Surgery Center to have her adenoids removed and ear tubes placed. When the nurse brought her the blanket before surgery she immediately fell in love with the blanket and it brought her comfort that she could take it with her for surgery. She is still sleeping with her blanket from the surgery center every night (her surgery was about 2 weeks ago). Thank you so much!!
I just wanted to send a big thank you for what you all do. My daughter was the recipient of a blanket on the morning of her surgery and it’s her favorite one. I was brought to tears to have such a beautiful gift given to us when my daughter (14 months) needed a little extra comfort. Thank you so much for what you do and please know that mamas like me appreciate you more than you will ever know. I know this blanket will be with us forever.
Hello, Thank you for providing blankets to the ICU at Frederick Health Hospital. The blankets have provided so much comfort for both families and patients. I have personally given a blanket to a grand-daughter to wrap up in while visiting with her dying grandfather and to two young girls that were visiting to say goodbye to their father. Your blankets have provided warmth and comfort to sick and dying patients and at times serve as a keepsake after a loved one has passed. I have dried tears with your blankets and wrapped the shoulder of a mom morning the loss of her child. Please continue to provide these blankets if that is possible, they have been such a blessing to our families and patients. J B - ICU Nurse

Wanted to thank Project Linus for bringing my 4 year old baby Reese a huge smile on surgery day, you made a huge difference.
Oh my word! The event was amazing and the blankets were a hit. People were oohing and ahhhing , I kid you not, trying to figure out which blanket they wanted. San Mar (Bester Community of Hope) had over 600 mom’s and their families attend on Saturday. Please pass on how honestly touching the Baby Palooza was and let them know how your blankets were a wonderful gift. I’m trying to track down some pictures! Janice, My 15-month old daughter Lucy received one of your blankets when she had surgery for her
ear tubes. As soon as she saw the blanket she reached out for it. I know it brought her joy and
comfort during a scary time. We are now at home recovering with our beautiful new blanket.

Our son received the blanket last week at the Frederick Surgical Center and has slept with it every night since (this is a big deal as he has replaced his favorite blanket with yours which is great)! My family and I wanted to reach out and Thank you for the Project Linus blanket my son received during his surgery at the Surgical Center. My son is 3 and had to have tubes for the second time and adenoids removed. It was such an awesome surprise to receive that beautiful green blanket with the frogs on the back! How amazing was it to have a special blanket my son was so comforted by! He loves it and now sleeps with it constantly. My daughter absolutely loves her beautiful blanket she received in surgery today. It made it so much easier for her. She was so happy. As a mom this means everything to the kids. Sending lots of love and hugs. Thank you will never be enough to tell you how much we appreciate what you do!
Dear Janet, Thank you so much for the cuddly Linus blanket. I'm a patient sat the [James M.] Stockman Center & was diagnosed with meta plastic breast cancer, a fairly rare form of BC. The volunteers at the Stockman Center are so friendly and one of them showed me a basket of blankets made by volunteers such as yourself. I chose yours and loved it immediately. It is very warm and soft. I have felt wrapped in a blanket of love since my diagnosis last fall, love that has come from friends, family and even strangers. Thank you again for your kindness and care. May God bless your for your gracious gift.

Thank you so much for Russell's baby blanket! He was 4 weeks early and spent 5 days in the NICU to help him eat and grow strong! He is now 2 months old & uses his blanket for tummy time daily. She was given the blanket at a point that she had been in pain for a couple of hours, but was also going through experiences she has never been through before, like ultrasounds, X-rays and worst of all, having blood taken several times. Through her tears, your blanket brought a smile to her face when nothing else was helping, so I wanted to write and let you know what an impact you have on peoples lives, [with just] a small selfless gesture to someone you don't even know.

ER very early this morning. My daughter was very scared and upset. The nurse ended up bringing her an
adorable fox Linus blanket and she loved it! It put her at ease and she was able to get much needed
sleep! I have attached a picture to show you how much she loves her blanket. Thank you so much for
making it. It helped us get through a difficult and scary time.

Hi Bonnie, we got your Project Linus blanket at the Frederick Memorial Hospital last night. My little girl had a bad concussion and she was very upset. They brought us the blanket and she cheered up! She loves it! Thank you so much! I nearly cried when I read the card. How wonderful!
